Chef Justine Miner

Justine Miner is no stranger to San Francisco. This San Francisco native was introduced to the world of amazing cuisine by her mother as a child. Although Miner’s educational focus did not begin in the restaurant industry she soon recognized her passion was heading that direction.

After graduating from UC Davis, Miner decided to focus on Restaurant management and enrolled at the Culinary Academy. Her focus then shifted to cooking and cuisine creation and she realized she found her passion in life.

Miner graduated from the Culinary Academy in 1997 then went on to work in several reputable and renowned restaurants such as La Folie, Globe, Postrio, Cafe Kati and Dine where she was introduced into the amazing world of fine dining and culinary excellence.

In 2002, Miner opened the doors to her very own location, RNM Restaurant, which she named after her late father Robert Miner. Miner continues to provide eccentric worldly fusion, focusing on American, Italian, and French influenced menu selections in a friendly and sophisticated environment.

Ambiance

RNM was introduced into the lower haight neighborhood in San Francisco over 7 years ago. Chef Miner selected this location to enhance the “neighborhood” vibe and ensure her guests could enjoy high quality cuisine in a relaxed and welcoming environment while still holding a strong fine dining presence. The Dining room seats about 55 people, embraces a sleek “city elegance” that is both inviting and trendy.

Cuisine

Miner’s cuisine changes seasonally to reflect the very best natural and organic ingredients. Menu selections will typically include the freshest produce of the season and combine unique and innovative flavors that won’t be forgotten.

Menu selections range from delectable gourmet pizzas, seasonal salads, and unique meat dishes - such as veal “involtini” and buffalo rib eye, and the house “signature” the mini RNM burgers, which were introduced to the menu upon opening in memory of Chef Miner’s fathers favorite “white castle burger.”

Wine Selection

To compliment Miner’s extraordinary cuisine, RNM offers an outstanding selection of some California’s best wine selections from the leading wine regions: Napa and Sonoma Valley and the Central coast. Several international varietals are also available for those with a worldly palate.
